Looksmaxxing has its own dictionary — tiers, slang and measurement terms inherited from the PSL forums. Below is the working vocabulary, each entry linking to a full page with definitions, references and how the term is actually used.

Rating tiers

The PSL scale's ladder, from the bottom band to the theoretical ceiling. Every tier name below has a dedicated entry — and the whole ladder is consolidated on the PSL tier list:

Measurement terms

The geometric vocabulary the scale actually reads:

  • Canthal tilt — the angle of your eye line; one of the most-discussed metrics
  • Hunter eyes — deep-set, positively-tilted eye area; the community's ideal
  • Facial harmony — how the features agree as a set; our Harmony dimension quantifies it

Slang

Why a dictionary (and why ours is different)

Every term page here follows the same discipline: what the term means, where it came from, what (if anything) it can actually measure, and what it can't. Community wikis define these terms in community language — we define them with the measurement attached, because a term you can't measure is just vibes. When a term has a geometric counterpart, our tool reads it; when it doesn't, we say so.
